The loss of Rielly for any period of time could be a real test for this team. Will it make them stronger in the long run or kill the season. I for one hope he isn't gone for any extended period of time.... Obviously

You'd only get another dman if you move out JvR, and give there are 0 players on the Leafs who can replace him (stand in front of net, score with 2 inches of space while having the puck between your legs, etc), im not sure what else you could trade for a D-man.

The only answer is to trade Leipsic + whatever package. Kapanen is injured, so thats a no go. Nylander's not going anywhere either.
